About project
This system and the web application have a clear concept that is similar to real-life scenarios and well-implemented. Going on, this PHP MYSQL car rental system project is primarily concerned with the reservation of cars, tracking, and keeping a record of the customer. This project has 3 pages Home, About us, and contacts us. the home page provides a beautiful landing page for customers. About us, the page gives details about the company. Similarly, the contact Page gives information about contact details and methods for customers. Photo of vehicle and price is displayed where customer can choose a there needed car. this system doesn't have any Admin panel because it is a customer base.
Login and sign up for users.
Customer Have to log in or create an account before booking the car. sign up process is very easy, you just have to fill in some information and set a new password for login. Your email, username, and password will be stored in the database safely. You can easily log in to your account using your email address and password. After logging in to the system you can see additional men in the navigation bar. you can view your account info, edit your account or delete it.
Reservation Policy
Upon reservation you must comply with the following requirements below:
- Renter must be 21 yrs old and above.
- Must have a professional driver’s license.
- Must have 2 government-issued IDs.
One week before vehicle use, a reservation must be made. The Car Rental owner will confirm the reservation, and the renter will be required to pay 40% of the total bill to finalize the transaction. Failure to pay within two days will result in the reservation being automatically canceled. Once a reservation is confirmed, the renter must arrive on the scheduled pick-up date. Failure to do so will result in a 400 peso penalty.

How to Run This Project:
Follow the steps below should be performed after you’ve started Apache and MySQL server in XAMPP.(windows)
- The first step is to extract the file.
- Secondly Make a copy of the main project folder.
- Thirdly Paste the code into app/htdocs/
The process to Connect the Database with the system.
- Fourthly Open a browser and type “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/” into the address bar.
- After that go to the databases tab.
- Sixthly Name your database “car rental” and then go to the import tab.
- then Select the “carrental.sql” file from the “DATABASE” folder by clicking on browse file.
- After that Press the enter key.
After you Successfully Connect the Database in House Rental System Project.
