Instruction on how to run Chat Application using Django
To complete this project, you must first install Python on your computer. By typing “python ” in cmd, you may see if Python is installed or not. If your path is incorrect, you will encounter an error. Otherwise, the computer will display the notice (‘Python’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file.) Make sure your path is right. You’ll need to change a parameter called PATH, which is a list of folders where Windows looks for programs, to repair the issue.
Firstly Extract or unzip the downloaded project file.
Secondly run the project, open project folder and type cmd. After that, install Django and others required packages using the following command.
pip install -r requirements.txt- You have to upgrade pip version if error occurs “pip install –upgrade pip”
- Install pillow through command “pip install pillow”
After successful execution of above step, type next command
python manage.py runserver
Finally, open the web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:8000/.and you are good to go.
Username and password for Admin Login is provided in Readme file.
